The other day my cousin was arrested for a dui. He is all freaked out and asked, is a dui a felony? Well I did a little bit of research on that website and came to find out that almost all first time DUI arrests are misdemeanors and not felonies. There is a few factors that determine this. If someone is seriously injured or killed in the incident then it can be a felony. Also if there have been more then 5 DUI arrests in a span of 10 years, it will be a felony.
